National Seminar on
History of Women's Movements in India

Venue : Nilambazar College, Karimganj

Nilambazar College, Karimganj is going to organise a National Seminar on the above said topic from 28th March, 2015(Saturday) to 29th March, 2015(Sunday). Abstracts are welcomed from the Academicians and Scholars and it should reach by 28th February, 2015. Papers would be peer reviewed.

Suggestions for Abstract and Full Papers :

  • * The abstract should not exceed 500 words.
  • * It should include title of the abstract, the author's name, designation and details contact.
  • * The abstract may be written in MS word, Font size 12 Pt.
  • * Those who will send the abstract in Bengali or in other languages, please send in Pdf. Format.
  • * Write the paper keeping in view of the publication immediately after the seminar.
  • * The length of full paper including tables, diagrams, illustrations, references, etc. should be within 5000 words.
  • * The full paper should be in English and typed in MS-Word in Times New Roman with font size 12 and 1.5 spaced.
  • * Those who will send the Full Paper in Bengali or in other languages, please send in Pdf. Format.

Hospitality and Travelling Allowance : The organizing committee will make modest arrangements for boarding and lodging in local Hotels at Karimganj, Assam. Keeping the budget constraints, the delegates to the extent possible, are requested to arrange travelling expenses from their respective institutions/organizations.

CLIMATE : Summer is hot, humid and interspersed with rains and thunderstorms. The average temperature during March is between 20-25°C.
